Freedom isn’t free

“Those who have long enjoyed such privileges as we enjoy forget in time those who died to win them.” -Franklin D. Roosevelt

Originally known as Decoration Day in 1868 honoring those who were lost while fighting in the Civil War. The holiday evolved during World War I to commemorate American military personnel who died in all wars. A century later, Congress passed the Uniform Monday Holiday Act which established Memorial Day as the last Monday in May.  It is a day of great significance for every American citizen to remember all of the men and women who died serving in the U.S. military. Thank you to all who have unselfishly served this great nation. This Memorial Day we also recognize those within our PRISM family for their service and our family of clients who have or currently have family serving in the armed forces.
